  • IDOT-recognized local public agency sponsors with taxing authority and active SAM.gov registration

Application

How to start.

  1. Coordinate with the IDOT district ITEP contact before the application window.
  2. Prepare the required local financial commitment, cost estimate, map, and supporting documents.
  3. Submit through the ITEP portal during Cycle 17.

Timing: Cycle 17 is scheduled to open August 1, 2026 and close October 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Central.
