What it does.

This is a comprehensive area-based tool for communities that already have a brownfield strategy and at least one applicant-owned site ready for cleanup. EPA states that it will not issue a multipurpose competition in FY 2027.

Best for: A coordinated downtown, corridor, or neighborhood brownfield initiative with sites at different stages.
